ARTRAC organises 10th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day to enhance awareness and satisfaction among veterans

The occasion also highlighted the ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening veterans’ welfare. The Headquarters of the Indian Army Training Command (ARTRAC) organised the 10th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day interaction for the veterans in Shimla on Wednesday.

In his address, the Chief of Staff said the objective of observing Veterans’ Day is to enhance awareness and satisfaction levels among veterans by addressing issues related to their welfare, pension and entitlements, including those concerning their next of kin.
During the interaction, the Chief of Staff expressed heartfelt gratitude to the veterans for their selfless service to the nation and assured them that the Indian Army would always remain committed to their welfare and well-being. “No effort will be spared to resolve genuine concerns of veterans and their families,” he said.
