LOS ANGELES: Sarah Palin is close to a deal for her travelogue reality show. Sources say Discovery Communications has edged out rivals in the bidding for the project,Sarah Palins Alaska. In her numerous TV appearances,Palin has proven she can draw an audience. Yet her show wont come cheap. The former Alaska governors asking price was 1.2 million per episode. A network paying anywhere close to that figure would make Alaska one of the most expensive nature series.

Lohan brands father a liar,slams reunion

LONDON: Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has slammed reports that she contacted her father Michael Lohan during his hospital stay,calling him a liar. The 24-year-old actress and her father fell out after he publicly voiced concerns for her health,saying she needed to cut her wild ways. The Mean Girls star accused Michael of trying to benefit from her fame and worsening her problems by going public with his views,the Daily Express reported.

Jennifer Aniston to star with Adam Sandler

LONDON: Her last film,the romantic comedy Bounty Hunter,was branded brainless by critics,but actress Jennifer Aniston is sticking to the tried and tested genre. The actress spent little time dwelling on the failure of the film as she began work on yet another romance comedy,this time with funnyman Adam Sandler,reported Daily Mail online. The 41-year-old actress was spotted filming with Sandler and model Brooklyn Decker in Los Angeles.
