Videocon Ind Q4 profit down 47

The sales during the October-December also went down by 2.47 per cent to Rs 3,073.39 crore from Rs 3,151.17 crore in the year-ago period,Videocon Industries said in a filing to the BSE.

For the entire 2011,Videocon8217;s net profit stood at Rs 545.56 crore,while the sales were at Rs 12,919.47 crore,it said.

8220;The figures for the current year are for a period of 12 months as against 15 months in previous period,8221; the company said.

Reacting to the results,shares of the company were quoting down by 0.11 per cent at Rs 185.50 apiece on the BSE n late afternoon trade.
