UNICEF has sent a written confirmation to the Ministry of Women and Child development WCD that it has sent back the ready to use therapeutic food RUTF it had distributed to children in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh without the Governments consent. The Indian Express had reported that the ministry had objected to distribution of the 8220;pulpy nut8221; RUTF. A senior official said the UNICEF would comply with the ministry in future.
