Two alleged SIMI members held in Raipur

The police claimed Siddiqui has admitted to 'planning Bodh Gaya and Patna blasts'.

Two more alleged SIMI members,Mohammad Said and Azharuddin Qureshi,were arrested from Raipur on Saturday evening.

A total of 13 suspects have been rounded up from the capital in the last 10 days as the police have claimed that they completely eliminated a SIMI module from the state.

The first,a private teacher Umer Siddiqui,was arrested on November 14 night and following his alleged confession,others were arrested.

The police claimed Siddiqui has admitted to planning Bodh Gaya and Patna blasts.

His parents,however,refuted the claim on Saturday and he told reporters that he had not made any confession and the police have not found any evidence on him.
