The wholesale sugar market remained quiet today as prices,after moving in a tight range on alternate small bouts of trading,held unchanged.

The wholesale sugar market remained quiet today as prices,after moving in a tight range on alternate small bouts of trading,held unchanged.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position and small buying mainly held prices around last levels.

The following were today8217;s rates per quital: Sugar ready: M-30 3,350-3,550,S-30 3,325-3,525. Mill delivery: M-30 3,140-3,400; S-30 3,125-3,375. Sugar mill gate prices excluding duty: Mawana 3240,Kinnoni 3380,Asmoli 3280,Dorala 3220,Budhana 3250,Thanabhavan 3240,Ramala 3150,Bulandshar 3150,Morna 3140,Sakoti 3140,Chandpur 3140,Dhanora 3170,Khatuli 3180 and Baghpat 3160.
