Shinde says sorry for Jaya remark

The debate in the Rajya Sabha on Assam violence saw Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde being forced to retract his words and apologise about some remarks that he made when SP member Jaya Bachchan repeatedly interrupted him. Listen to me,this is not a filmy issue, Shinde ticked off Jaya. Taking exception to his remarks,she and her party colleagues protested,triggering an uproar in the House. Leader of the Opposition Arun Jaitley asked Shinde to withdraw the comments and said: Jayaji is an achiever in her field,the home minister cannot use it as a taunt. Shinde thereafter apologised,saying,If she is hurt by my comments,I apologise for that. She is my sister.
