Raman turns 61,but low-key affair this time

RAIPUR: Chief Minister Raman Singhs birthday celebrations are usually a grand affair. He turned 61 on Tuesday,but let alone other festivities,his media team did not even send the customary text messages or issue ads congratulating him. However,some lesser-known men,probably BJP members,released full-page ads in newspapers. A silly mistake they committed though. The photographs they used were possibly clicked at least 6-7 years ago.

RAIPUR: The BJP Tuesday accused the Election Commission of being a Congress agent and acting in a discriminatory manner. It ignores our complaints of gross violations by Congress,but acts against the BJP on the basis of minor and baseless complaints, said party spokesperson Srichand Sundarani.

MP Cong chiefs son says wont contest

INDORE: Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee chief Kantilal Bhurias son Vikrant Bhuria Tuesday said he wont contest the elections. In order to protect my father from charges of nepotism or favouritism,I have decided not to seek the party ticket, he said.
