One held in DGM burning case

Ten days after the deputy general manager of a private steel plant was burnt alive by agitating workers at Titlagarh in Orissa,a labour union leader was arrested in connection with the incident,the police said on Sunday. Gouri Shankar Mishra was arrested from his relatives house on Saturday on the charge of killing Radheshyan Ray,the DGM of Powmex Steel on March 3. With this arrest,the number of arrests rose to 10,police said.

Ray succumbed to severe burns after his jeep was set ablaze by a group of disgruntled workers outside the factory when he was leaving for lunch.
