PIX is all set to show Red Cliff,a Chinese war epic based on the Battle of Red Cliffs and events during the end of the Han Dynasty.

The battle was fought using ancient forms of martial arts, something that Akshay Kumar and his trainer Mehul Vora are also teaching in their institute called the National Karate Championship, which has the backing of Indian Karate Foundation.

Talking about martial arts,Akshay says,I want the children here to have exposure to the best karate fighters and teachers. I have already prepared them for the fact that next year we are making my tournament international and that countries such as Malaysia,Thailand,Japan and Indonesia will be competing with Indias finest karate champions.

Akshay is keen on everyone getting the opportunity to learn one of the greatest forms of physical disciplines in the world. In fact, both Mehul and he feel that the young martial arts enthusiast should watch the film as it does create awareness on ancient techniques like Kung-Fu,Shorinji Kempo,Tai Chi Chuan etc. The film airs on March 16 at 9 pm.
