Omar,the new-age CM

Omar Abdullah has proved to be quite an unconventional Chief Minister. There were murmurs in the Congress camp about his obsession with his Blackberry,as the tech-savvy CM was noticed fiddling with the device even at public meetings. It turns out that Omar keeps himself updated through e-mails and SMSes from government functionaries. He apparently gets e-mail reports from a senior police officer in charge of intelligence twice a day. He has given his personal cellphone number to senior government functionaries,who are free to call him up at any time of day.
