No trace of ad professionals who went missing on Pune-Goa road

The police said Shrutika and Sahil carried two cell phones each,while Pranav and Chintan had one each.

Despite launching a massive search operation,the police have failed to find the three men and a woman working with a Pune advertising and marketing firm who went missing mysteriously on November 2.

Pranav Lele 29 of Arjun Rekha Apartments in Baner,who is a partner in Paradigm Plus located in Bhusari Colony,Kothrud,and employees Chintan Buch 28 and Sahil Qureshi 29 of Baner and Shrutika Chandvani 28 of Maharshi Nagar left Pune in a car MH 12 FY 4510 around 10.30 pm on November 1.

While Pranav,Sahil and Chintan had planned a Goa trip,Shrutika wanted to visit her home in Kolhapur for Diwali. The plan was to drop Shrutika along the way and move on.

The Kothrud police said the car belonging to Pranav was spotted at the Khed Shivapur toll post at around 12.30 am on November 2. They reportedly paid toll and moved towards Satara. One of the four accessed internet from a phone at 2.50 am. They have been untraceable since.

Family members tried to call them repeatedly. But their cell phones are not reachable, said police inspector S B Navale,who is investigating the case.

The police said Shrutika and Sahil carried two cell phones each,while Pranav and Chintan had one each.

Pranavs father Ashok 57 of Shramik Bungalow in Kamlesh Society,Kothrud,lodged a missing complaint at the Chatushringi police station on November 2. The case was transferred to the Kothrud police the next day.

Navale said,We have dispatched two teams to search for the four. We are taking help of Pune rural and Satara police and have also informed police in other districts. We are not sure how they went missing. There is no possibility of a road accident. It seems the four were good friends.

Ashok told the police Pranav left their Kothrud home at around 10 pm on November 1 and later picked up his friends from Baner to go to Gokarna-Mahabaleshwar. Sahil is a native of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh and Chintain hails from Vadodara in Gujarat. None of the four is married.

Sahils father Asad said,We had planned to be with Sahil in Pune during Diwali. We were supposed to leave for Pune on November 1. But a day before,Sahil called and asked us to cancel our Pune trip saying he had to go to Bangalore for official work. Sahil and friends were regulars to Goa. He had gone there on September 31 to attend a marriage.

Chintans father Chaitanya said,We last spoke to Chintan on October 31. He told us about his trip. I accompanied the police to Bhor for a search. But we could not locate him.
