Manmohan will be PM thrice: Rahul

Taking on the Opposition for its criticism of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,Rahul Gandhi on Monday said he was yet to find a weak Sikh in his life. A Sikh can never be weak,I am yet to see one, said the AICC general secretary,adding that Manmohan Singh would be prime minister not twice,but thrice.

While Sikhs like Manmohan Singh have held the nations head high in the world,farmers are the backbone of the nation and we cannot ignore them, he told the well-attended rally. Manmohan Singh Punjab ki shaan hain. Aise log mushkil hi milte hain. Yeh Manmohan Singh ki election hai. PM ho to aisa ho,jisne Sikh ka sar ooncha kiya Manmohan Singh is Punjabs pride. Such people are rare to find. This is Manmohans election. A PM should be like him,who has held the head of Sikhs high, Rahul said,trying to play the Sikh PM card in favour of Congress nominee Vijay Inder Singla.

Attacking L K Advani for terming Manmohan as a weak PM,Rahul said our PM never succumbed to terrorism as Advanis cabinet colleague did,escorting three top terrorists for their safe passage. He added: Now,Advani is making lame excuses that it was not in his notice but in the notice of then PM A B Vajpayee,who is unable to speak due to his illness.
