IRCTC set to go global,will start Dubai package tour

A desert safari,Dhow cruise,a city tour and a visit to the worlds tallest building Burj Khalifa are some of the main attractions included in the IRCTCs package.

There is a strong demand for outbound package so we have decided to launch a week-long package for Dubai to begin with. Depending on the response,there may be more such packages for other popular international destinations in future, an IRCTC official said.

Known as the shopping capital of the Middle East and the City of Gold,Dubai has always attracted tourists.

We have received a good response to our first international package as it got fully booked within days of its announcement, said the official.
