Interface Inc sees potential in India

Interface Inc,a global carpet tile company,said it sees a huge potential in the Indian market especially from IT/ITeS companies that are developing their office space. The company is growing its share in office sectors in Indias dynamic market,apart from developing a presence in the hospitality,education and healthcare segments,chairman and chief executive officer Daniel Hendrix said.

The Nasdaq-listed company said setting up a manufacturing unit in India is in the pipeline,but not immediately. Setting up a manufacturing unit is capital intensive. We will look at it sometime in the future,when we start getting a good amount of business here, said Raj Menon,country manager. Currently,the company sources products from its manufacturing plant in Thailand,the closest to India. FE
