Engineering and infrastructure firm Larsen and Toubros chairman and managing director AM Naik on Monday met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with plans to invest in the state after a gap of 34 years. After the meeting,Naik said,There is lot of scope in West Bengal for investment. Larsen and Toubro is keen to come in the state after a long gap.
To a question,he said the Chief Minister had given many ideas for investments in infrastructure,tourism,power and health sectors. According to Naik,the company would carry out a study on the sectors to prepare a preliminary report for investment.
