Holbrooke hitches a ride

The US Special Envoy on Afghanistan and Pakistan,Richard Holbrooke,may be the US pointperson for South Asia these days,but there are still certain privileges for which he needs help. So,when Holbrooke visited the region last week,he had to tie up dates with Admiral Mike Mullen,the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff. While the two coming together made a lot of sense,Mullen is entitled to his plane and that made matters a bit easier for Holbrooke too. It was Mullens plane on which Holbrooke travelled,even though it was very much a Holbrooke visit for India.
