Heavy security for Modi U8217;khand rally

The Uttarakhand police are preparing a foolproof security system in and around the Parade ground in Dehradun,where BJPs PM candidate Narendra Modi,accompanied by BJP president Rajnath Singh,will hold his Shankhnad Rally on December 15. Keeping the security lapses at Modis rally in Gandhi Maidan in mind,the police are using equipment like Ground Penetrating Radar,Deep Search Metal Detector and Non-linear Junctions Detector to scan the Parade ground and track underground objects. Sources said the police are also planning to seek help from the Armys anti-mines team to avoid chances for explosives. Sources added a temporary police outpost has been virtually set up at the rally ground to keep a close watch on adjacent buildings. The police are also planning to put two jammers and install CCTV cameras near the ground.
