Haunted 3D is India’s first film in the horror genre that has been shot in stereoscopic 3D,without the post-production conversion,The technology used in Haunted 3D is similar to what was used Avatar.

The film that is set in the misty mountains of Dalhousie,Haunted 3D revolves around Glen Manor,a haunted mansion.

The protagonist Rehan (Mahakshay) visits Glen Manor hoping to sell the property but in the bargain discovers a secret. The audiences will have to wait and watch if the 3D effect used in the film,intensifies the drama and whether Haunted 3D will breathe life into Mimoh’s career.

The Buzz

* Vikram Bhatt has used music to build up the suspense in the film. The 3D effect has been used mostly in scenes wherein there is smoke,in shots of hallways and for things laterally coming at the frame.

* Haunted 3D marks the comeback of Mimoh,renamed as Mahakshay,on the silver-screen. After Jimmy,his debut film,he was lying low for three years.

* Tia Bajpai was to be cast in a music video made by Vikram Bhatt’s company. But,though the music video didn’t see the light of day,Bhatt,who saw Tia’s portfolio pictures,called her for a look-test for Haunted 3D.
