Shah Rukh Khan is very tickled about the reaction to his long locks that he is presently sporting for Don 2. Many people ask him if the hair is for real,while his daughter Suhana is dying to give him a bath,he said laughingly at an event to launch a documentary.

But what takes the cake is how it has affected the superstar himself. I have always respected women for the way they multi-task,and how strong they are emotionally. But after sporting long hair,my respect for them has gone up tenfold. I realised how tough it is to maintain long hair from combing to washing it and keeping it neat, he said in a serious tone. Die-hard fan!
Fans are known to do crazy things just to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. Recently one such die-hard fan of Sunny Deol cycled 78 miles from Allahabad to Varanasi where Sunny is shooting for Chandrakant Dwivedis Mohalla Assi to meet his hero as he couldnt afford any other mode of transport.

This fan,whose name is not known,had earlier attempted to meet Sunny by coming from his home-town to Mumbai,but unfortunately he couldnt meet him. However,he returned a happy man as he got to see Sunnys Juhu house. This time fortunately,he managed to meet Sunny in the holy place of Varanasi.

Making papa proud
Akshay Kumar is a proud father and with good reason. His enterprising genes,it would appear,have clearly been passed on to son Aarav.

The eight-year-old has started yoga classes for his friends. And while he is not the one teaching them to deep-breathe,he does collect a small fee,duly employed in hiring a yoga instructor and is purchasing yoga mats etc!

Of course,he did ask his parents for their permission,which was obtained without much ado. Given his penchant for fitness and finance,Aarav sure is a filmi kid to watch.

Policing the police
Asha Bhosle has slammed the police force in the state for being rude. There appeared to be no immediate trigger for the veteran singers unexpected outburst,which came recently after she was conferred an honorary D. Litt. Doctor of Letters by the Nashik-based Yeshwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.

She said that police personnel were arrogant and lacked manners and urged the university,which conducts non-conventional courses and imparts long-distance education to dropouts,to consider training the cops too. Home Minister R. R. Patil initially tried to play down the matter by saying that if Bhosle had any specific complaint it could be investigated. Later,however,it was learnt that he has asked senior officials to ensure that police personnel get some lessons in courtesy.

Amrita Rao,who was recently signed as the brand ambassador for Agni jewellery,recalled her school days when she would carry a small gold ring in her pocket and wear it whenever she would get a chance. Looking charming in a brown and peach gown,the petite actress said. The school rules did not allow the girls to wear any gold jewellery,but I was extremely fond of it,hence I would wear it on the sly, she said with a smile,adding that shes thrilled that now she can wear all the exquisite jewellery to her hearts
