FCS sets up development centre at Noida

FCS inaugurated its International Development Center in Noida.

Software solutions provider FCS today opened a 400-seat development centre in Noida,which will offer cost-effective cloud computing solutions to its clients.

Cloud computing allows companies to utilise services,softwares or applications on a pay-per-use model without actually owning any hardware infrastructure or licence. This helps companies save on setting up IT infrastructure and licences.

“By using our solutions,clients can bring down their IT costs by about 30 per cent. The solutions will bring down clients IT infrastructure budgets by migrating them to cloud computing,” FCS Managing Director Dalip Kumar said.

Set up at a cost of Rs 30 crore,the Noida-based centre will offer cloud computing solutions and develop mobile applications for telecom companies.

“We believe that the next wave of productivity enhancement will come from mobile applications. The world is in a transitional phase,where the computing power of hand-held devices is sharply increasing and more corporate users are moving from desktop-associated environments to anywhere-anytime work cultures,” he added.

FCS already has delivery centres in Noida,Gurgaon,Chandigarh and Dehra Dun.

The firm’s stock was trading at Rs 3.01,up by 0.33 per

cent at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
