E-learning module on corporate governance launched

Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Dun amp; Bradstreet India launch e-learning module on Corporate Governance.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Dun amp; Bradstreet India launched an e-learning module on Corporate Governance: Voluntary Guidelines 2009.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs had launched these guidelines on Corporate Governance as part of the India Corporate Week,2009. The objective of these guidelines is to help companies strengthen their internal governance processes. These guidelines will serve as a benchmark for the corporate sector and help them in achieving the highest standard of corporate governance.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has now taken a step further to broaden the reach of this program on an e-learning platform. As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative this module is developed by Dun amp; Bradstreet India for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Speaking at the launch,Salman Khurshid,Minister of Corporate Affairs,said,It is imperative to have commitment towards Corporate Governance as it is of prime importance and seen as a major concern worldwide. There is a need to educate the people and make them a part of Good Corporate Governance.
