Delhi collects Rs 33 crore as registration fee

8220;We have collected Rs 33 crore in during April to August this year compared to Rs 2 crore collected in the entire fiscal last year,8221; he said. Rs 1.24 crore was collected in the first five months of last fiscal.

Chauhan said the registration was higher during the months of July and August and in these two months the government received Rs 32.43 crore as registration fee.

He said an amount of Rs 58.93 lakh was collected as registration fee from April to June period.

The city government has been facing financial difficulties due to massive spending on Commonwealth Games related infrastructure.
