HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh is the recipient of this year's 'lifetime achievement award' instituted by Ernst & Young,for "exceptional contribution in developing India's financial services sector",the firm said. Ernst & Young also announced names of 14 'most visionary business leaders',selected as the finalists for its Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) - India 2011 award from among over 340 self-nominations,it said in a release today. All finalists will be felicitated at a grand celebratory banquet on February 23 here. "Our finalists represent individuals from varied sectors,who have not only touched many a life with their innovative and unique business models,but also created a global impact through their unique vision," Ernst & Young India Country Managing Partner,Rajiv Memani,said.
