Cognizant bags Marks 038; Spencer contract

Cognizant would provide application support services,remote IT infrastructure management among other services to Marks and Spencers.

Nasdaq-listed IT major Cognizant said it would offer end-to-end integrated applications and infrastructure management services to United Kingdom based retailer Marks and Spencers.

8220;As part of multi-year managed services contract,Cognizant would provide end-to-end integrated applications and infrastructure management services to Marks and Spencers covering business and functional areas 8212; procurement,supply chain,forecasting,sales and financial management,8221; Cognizant said in a statement.

Cognizant currently has 50 delivery centers worldwide and over one lakh employees as of December 31,2010,the statement added.
