Buzz is that Rose Movies Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai,which was made for the afternoon slot on Colors will now be aired on the weekend slot,in all probability,from June. Meanwhile, the contract for Swarg Mata Pitah Ki Charnon Mein,which will complete one year in June,is reportedly not being renewed due to lack of good TRPs. The show is said to be being replaced by Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam,which is currently telecast at 9 pm. However the channel claims that the plans for shows post IPL have not been formulated yet and things remain as they are,for now.
Daksh of Seven to do another YRF show
Anubhav Shrivastava,who is playing Daksh Rajvansh in the YRF show Seven is all set to do another YRF show and a Sony show,the talks for which are on. The actor who hails from theatre and has done serials like Jyoti,Jab Love Hua and Shh..Phir Koi Hai is ecstatic with the response his negative role has been garnering. Of the five YRF shows being aired on Sony,Seven is the only one to be garnering decent TRPs. What excites him more is that being a negative character he has a lot of scenes in the show. I get to do a lot of dialogue baazi, grins Anubhav who plays a mind-hacker in the show. He is shown to be a computer whizkid,with the help of which he tracks his victims to kill. Incidentally,before he came into serials,Anubhav was doing theatre and was part of a play The Graduate with Zeenat Aman. He has also been part of Nadira Babbars Ekjute at one point. I quit theatre when I started doing TV because the latter is time-consuming, he informs. And though he is not exactly playing the lead roles,Anubhav is more than happy with the way his TV career is shaping up.
Jasveer Kaur in Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai
Jasveer Kaur,who played the vicious Pavitra/Kajri in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan is set to enter Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai on STAR Plus as a kothewali (courtesan). Unlike her earlier character,which was negative in Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai,Jasveer plays the role of Roop Kunwar,a sweet,positive girl,who loves Ambika Bhavani,the dacoit leader. I am playing a kothewali,who loves Ambika Bhavani and helps him in his hour of need. She is a nice woman and I feel fortunate to play a positive character. says Kaur,who is a great buddy of Barkha Bisht,who plays the lead. Both are having a blast shooting for the serial.
Babbar Films launch historical on DD
Doordarshan is back with yet another mega-serial on a historical personality. Maharaja Ranjit Singh: Sher-e-Punjab that will go on air on April 13 will chronicle the life and times of the great Sikh king. The 52 episode serial has been produced by Doordashan in collaboration with actor-politician Raj Babbars Babbar Films Pvt Ltd. The serial has been directed by Chitraath Singh and Sikander Bharti. Noted ghazal singer Jagjit Singh has composed the music. The serial,that will air every Tuesday at 10 pm on the DD National,was launched on April 8 in Mumbai. Jagjit Singh,Hansraj Hans and Sukhwinder Singh presented musical renditions from the serial along with a 30-minute showreel that was presented by Raj Babbar.
Dheeraj Kumar wins case
Dheeraj Kumar can finally heave a sigh of relief. The court case filed by Rajita Sharma against Dheeraj has been decided in the latters favour. Talking about the verdict,the Creative Eye head says,All the claims made by Rajita have been rejected by the Court. However,I wish her all the best and you never know,if theres an opportunity in the future,I may even work with her. Rajita had filed a case saying she wasnt given due credit for her creative inputs in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam and quit.
Shilpa Shetty and Arshad Warsi to judge Zara Nachke Dikha
After grinning and flicking her hair at the audience as the host of Bigg Boss Season 2,Shilpa Shetty is set to return to the small screen as a judge with Zara Nachke Dikha. The actress,announced on Twitter about her entry in the show. She wrote: Promised to tell u all first…Will b judging Zara Nach Ke Dikha on Star. Its official. Arshad Warsi has also been roped in as the second judge. The hunt for a third judge,who will be a choreographer,is on.

WHEN Ballu,of SAB TVs silent comedy Gutar Gu,proudly showed off his new bike,little did actor Sunil Grover know that it wouldnt be all fun and games for him. While shooting for the episode,the character had to show off his new bike to everyone around and perform some stunts too. Grover,who plays Ballu,is not very familiar with two wheelers and managed to fall and injure himself while performing these antics. Luckily the injuries werent serious,and the actor decided to stick to the mood of the show and laugh his pain away.
