London: NASAs Mars rover Curiosity might be facing a hacking threat from the notorious hacker group,Anonymous,a US security firm claimed. The group had reportedly brought down websites including several US government,and Curiosity could be their next target,the Daily Mail reported.

At least 39 killed in Iraq attacks

BAGHDAD: A wave of attacks across Iraq on Thursday killed at least 39 people and wounded over 100,officials said. Army and police officers and civilians in five provinces as well as Baghdad were killed.

11 killed,Black Hawk downed in Afghanistan

Kabul: A NATO Black Hawk helicopter came down in southern Afghanistan on Thursday,killing seven international soldiers and four Afghans,the military said,as Taliban insurgents claimed to have shot it down. Three US soldiers,four NATO members,three Afghan security forces members and a civilian was killed.

Taliban spokesman Qari Yusuf Ahmadi said,Our mujahideen holy warriors shot down an ISAF helicopter at Shah Wali Kot district in Kandahar province around 11:00 am 1200 IST.
