N-plant at Chashma project inaugurated

Islamabad: Pak Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday inaugurated a nuclear power plant at the Chashma project built with Chinese assistance and called on the world community to eliminate discrimination in giving Pakistan access to atomic technology for peaceful use. The second unit of the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant in Punjab province,which will produce 330MW of electricity,was completed more than three months ahead of schedule,Gilani said.
