LONDON: Friends and family said goodbye to Amy Winehouse Tuesday at a private funeral ceremony in London. Producer Mark Ronson and media personality Kelly Osbourne were among mourners at the service at Edgwarebury Cemetery. An autopsy held Monday failed to determine the cause of the singers death.

GERESHK DISTRICT: A grieving Afghan policeman said Taliban insurgents who hanged his eight-year old son had phoned him repeatedly to demand he hand over his official vehicle as ransom. Mohammad Dawood,a policeman in Helmand,said he dismissed their demand and he was later informed his son was hanged.
