Sensex falls 78 points on weak global markets

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex fell 78.01 points on Wednesday to 16,446.02 as investors sold stocks ahead of settlement in the derivatives segment amid weak global markets. The Nifty also tanked by 25.35 points to 4,945.90.
