Air India board clears key proposals
Mumbai: Air India is re-financing a loan of Rs 5,500 crore through ICICI to purchase 21 Airbus A 320s,the Air India board decided at a meeting on Wednesday. The board has also approved the acquisition of 30 acres of land near Nagpur SEZ to set up its MRO facility.
LIC Housing Q3 net jumps 39 per cent
Mumbai: LIC Housing Finance has posted an impressive 39 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 213.49 crore for the third quarter of FY11,which saw its CEO getting arrested in bribe-for-loans scam. Net profit in the October-December period in 2009 was Rs 153.57 crore.
