Ban Rs 1000,Rs 500 notes: Baba Ramdev

Yoga guru-turned politician Baba Ramdev reiterated his demand to ban high denomination currencies to curb corruption in the country.

8220;Government should ban the currency notes of Rs 1,000 and 500 denominations to curb corruption which has spread all over the country,8221; Baba Ramdev,who was here on a three-day yoga programme said.

Replying to a query he said,8221;If the ban is imposed the wealth accumulated by the corrupt people will come out in the market.8221;
