Bihu break for Assam bandhs Guwahati: The Paresh Barua faction of the ULFA has decided not to call any Assam bandh between April 6 and April 15 in view of the upcoming Rongali Bihu festival. The second and final phase of the elections is on April 11. We have decided not to go ahead with our earlier plan of calling bandhs during the visit of the head of government and other senior Central leaders. during the festival, ULFA publicity-in-charge Arunodoy Dohotiya said in an emailed statement.
