Gujarat Confidential: Nepal ties

Nepal’s Ambassador to India Shankar Prasad Sharma met Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar during his visit to Gujarat to promote tourism in the Himalayan country. A statement from the Chief Minister’s Office said that the Ambassador and the Chief Minister had a fruitful discussion on cooperation in the sectors of tourism, information technology, hydro energy, manufacturing and education. A distinguished economist, Dr Sharma was reappointed as Nepal’s Ambassador to India in December last year after his tenure ended in July 2024.
