Shares of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group firms fell in the range of 2-6 per cent today amid reports that a court would hear a plea for directing CBI to make Anil Ambani,among others,as accused in the 2G spectrum case.
Reacting to the reports,the group8217;s telecom arm Reliance Communications plunged by 4.11 per cent to settle at Rs 89.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange,while Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd fell by 4.36 per cent to close at Rs 67.95.
Reliance Infrastructure stockdeclined by 4.66 per cent,Reliance MediaWorks by 6.23 per cent,Reliance Power by 2.67 per cent and Reliance Capital by 2.58 per cent.
Meanwhile,a Delhi court today dismissed pleas for a direction to the CBI to make Reliance ADAG chairman Anil Ambani,Tata group Chief Ratan Tata,corporate lobbyist Niira Radia and DMK chief M Karunanidhi8217;s wife Dayalu Ammal,as accused in the 2G spectrum scam.
The court8217;s order came after the close of the stock markets.
