Another blast in Manipur,no one hurt

Barely 14 hours after an IED blast in the capital complex here killed an Assam Rifles personnel,another grenade exploded in Manipurs interior Bishenpur district Tuesday morning.

Suspected militants hurled the grenade at Forest Office gate area at 6.30 am and fled towards Moirang,police said. No casualty or injuries have been reported. No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the blasts. Mondays explosion occurred when people were going to watch the Sangai Festival tourism festival,in which delegates from Myanmar and Thailand are also participating. Various social outfits had earlier appealed to the militants not to indulge in any violence during the festival.
