Akhilesh says some forces,parties spoiling atmosphere

There are some forces and political parties which do not want Uttar Pradesh to progress. They indulge in wrong sort of politics,they are spoiling the atmosphere,they are just looking for chances. He warned of strict action against those who fuelled the clashes.

Asked about the suspected role of khap panchayats in the clashes,Akhilesh said it was early to comment on their role,and added,Any group that is against the Constitution will be checked and restrictions imposed.

The Prime Minister spoke to Akhilesh Monday. I had a talk with the prime minister,the governor and senior journalists. I gave them the information as desired by them. I have assured them that the situation in Muzaffarnagar will be normal soon.

Asked if the Samajwadi Party government was blaming the opposition for its failure,minority welfare minister Azam Khan,who was with the chief minister,said,We are only telling you the actual position of the opposition parties. They want to grab power and indulge in the most ugly methods.
