ADG transferred

Within 24 hours of allegations of corruption in Fire Service Department made by DIG Devendra Dutt Misra,the government transferred the departments Additional DG Harish Chandra Singh. While Singh has been shifted to Police Training Headquarters,an officer is yet to be posted in his place. DIG Misra had accused ADG Singh for pressuring him to make favourable noting on certain files related to the purchase of fire fighting equipment. The ADG,however,had refuted the charges.
