DUBAI, JANUARY 29: Australian skipper Steve Waugh has been voted as the best match-winner of modern day cricket, ahead of Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, by cricket legends here to take part in the Hall of Classic golf.

Waugh won 5-2, Barry Richards, David Graveney, Graham Gooch, David Hookes and Sir Richard Hadlee voting in his favour. Faroukh Enginner opted for Tendulkar and West Indian Phil Simmons picked up Lara.
