Wasim Jaffer to miss Pak trip

The Mumbai cricket team scheduled to play in the Mohammed Nissar Trophy against Karachi Urban in Pakistan next month received a set-back with skipper Wasim Jaffer dropping out due to an injured knee. The stylish opener will be replaced by middle-order batsman Bhavin Thakkar. The new captain will be named on Tuesday, according to Waingankar. Left-arm spinner Nilesh Kulkarni has the experience of leading the team before and seems to be the best bet.
