CHANDIGARH, June 8: Varinder Yadav was the star attraction of the 19th Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) Inter-Sector judo championship which commenced today at Basic Training Centre, Bhanu near here. Varinder, who recently won a bronze in the Commomwealth Judo Championship held at Scotland, comfortably won his initial round and is likely to win a gold medal in his respective weight category.The two day meet was inaugurated by NK Mishra, DIG, ITBP.The participating teams are Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Garhwal, Kumaon and Training Centre.
