Disaster mgnt centre opened
Chairman of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited GACL C R Patil on Monday inaugurated a Disaster Management Centre at the Dahej industrial area. The centre has been set up with the help of experts in the field of industry and officers of the Factories Inspectorate. Local companies and industries have also contributed. Chairman of IPCL K G Ramanathan was also present.

Redressal
The General Manager of the telecom district will meet members of public every Thursday from 3 to 5 pm without any prior appointment, as part of the drive to redress public grievances speedily.

Appointed
Nilag Vaid, Bharat Parikh and Umesh Joshi have been appointed general secretaries of city unit of the Rashtriya Janata Party. Appointments have been also made for the posts of vice-presidents, secretaries, treasurer and joint secretaries.
