Krishnapal Singh dead
Bhopal: Former Governor of Gujarat and senior Congress leader Krishnapal Singh died early on Monday at his residence in Civil Lines here following a massive heart attack. He was 78.

Gandhinagar: The State Assembly on Monday adjourned after paying glowing tributes to the Kargil martyrs for laying down their lives. Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel said the jawans had sacrificed their lives while fighting Pakistan-aided intrusion in Kargil.

Vadodara: An official of the Regional Transport Office at Dahod was picked up on Monday in connection with the detention of a truck transporting cows and the suffocation death of 16 of them. Meanwhile, the situation in Limdi, which witnessed clashes on this issue on Saturday, was peaceful.
