One-way system scrapped
The one-way traffic system between Kothi and Kalaghoda, via the central jail and via Aradhana cinema, was scrapped on Monday evening following the Vadodara District Court8217;s refusal to grant any further extension to its earlier order that had allowed the city police to one-way traffic on these roads till Monday.

Medical exams
Examinations for the medical college will begin from January 19 as declared earlier. There will be no change in the schedule even if a holiday is declared on Tuesday for Ramzan Id.

Interim stay
The Gujarat High Court has granted an interim stay against inclusion of 21 villages in the VMC limits till February 8. According to I U Patel, opposition leader in the Vadodara District Panchayat, this follows a writ petition filed by Ranoli Sarpanch Chandrakant Patel and others.
