US experts arrive

Three experts from Wild Well Corporation, United States, arrived today at the Devarapalli blowout site to take stock of the situation, R B Singh, general manager, drilling, ONGC told PTI on telephone.

Singh said the experts accompanied by Bora, ONGC Director Personal, Jauharilal Director Technical, R C Gourh, Director Drilling and other senior officials of the ONGC were supervising the site to begin the operation.

According to reports with the help of the water umbrella8217; people were able to go up to twenty metres to the cellar pit as the fire was now confined to the cellar pit in a radius of ten metres.
