MUMBAI, JANUARY 22: The Satara-based United Western Bank has posted a 98 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 8.75 crore during the third quarter ended December 31, 1999 compared to Rs 4.42 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Total income during the third quarter rose by 34 per cent to Rs 121.11 crore as against Rs 90.11 cr last year.
