Two PSIs caught taking bribe

SURAT, May 2: Anti-Corruption Bureau ACB officials on Saturday nabbed two police sub-inspectors PSIs, attached to the Katargam police station, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 3000 from a rickshaw owner.

According to the ACB, PSI B T Salve of the Amroli police chowky and PSI D H Rathod of the Ganeshpura police chowky 8212; both chowkies fall under the Katargam police station 8212; had demanded Rs 3000 from one Rauf Abdul Shaikh. Shaikh had hired his autorickshaw GQC 3740 to one Satish Rattanji and paid him on daily basis.
