Two PMK ministers resign

NEW DELHI, FEB 5: Two PMK ministers N T Shanmugham and E Ponnuswamy today resigned from the Vajpayee government at the Centre.

The resignation by the two ministers followed shortly after PMK leader S Ramadoss met the Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Monday morning and informed him about withdrawing the two ministers from the government, sources said.

It is still not clear whether the five-member PMK grouphas also decided to withdraw support to the nda government headed by Vajpayee.
