PUNE, Nov 27: Onstables Ramesh Kamble from Cantonment police Station and Ramesh Pardeshi of Pune police headquarters, both suspected to be members of a group which blackmailed and extorted history-sheeters, have been granted anticipatory bail.

Kamble and Pardeshi, who had not reported on duty since their accomplices constable Ramesh Dhede from Wanowrie police and history-sheeter Sangita Laxman Pawar were arrested on robbery charges on November 21, went to the Wanowrie police and furnished the copies of the court orders granting anticipatory bail to them on Friday morning.

Both the policemen had vanished without a trace since November 21, the day on which history-sheeter Mangal Baban Gadve lodged an FIR against them.
