Switzerland bar blast news: Several people were killed, and others injured in fire inside a bar in the ski resort of Crans-Montana in Switzerland, Reuters reported.

The blast took place at 01:30 local time (00:30 GMT) in the Constellation Bar, the police said in a statement.

Citing a police spokesperson, Swiss news outlet Blick reported that there were more than 100 people were in the bar at the time of the blast.

According to BBC, an unverified footage, that has gone viral on social media, showed fire burning at a bar as it celebrated on New Year’s Eve.

A helpline for kin of people affected has already been set up, the police said.
